Background
The Irish Titanic Historical Society (ITHS) was founded in 1988 and from small beginnings it now has an international membership of about 200.
The main interests are RMS Titanic and the Irish Passengers who boarded at Queenstown, The Lusitania, which sank off the coast of Kinsale and general maritme history.
Our particular Irish interests include:
Belfast:
Harland and Wolf - Where Titanic was built.
Cobh (formerly Queenstown):
Titanic's last port of call and final resting
place of Lusitania victims.
Kinsale: Where the wreck of Lusitania lies offshore
